Coverage for your unique needs!
Coverage for your unique needs!
It can be frustrating when it comes to health insurance enrollment. An independent, licensed agent gives you a single point of contact when deciding which plan will work well for you & your specific needs.
The goal is helping you understand the federal Medicare program & all of your additional plan options. Before choosing a policy we want to be confident you understand the difference between Original Medicare, Medicare Supplements & Medicare Advantage plan options as well as other aspects that may impact you- such as the Part D Late Enrollment Penalty.
Keep in mind, The Social Security Administration is where you enroll into Original Medicare which is Part A & Part B. Some individuals are automatically enrolled. Find more information at http://www.ssa.gov/medicare
We help with the enrollment of any additional health insurance plans & offer yearly plan reviews.
Helps cover the cost of prescription drugs. You can purchase a Medicare drug plan in addition to Original Medicare or you can obtain coverage by joining a Medicare Advantage Plan that includes drug coverage. Plans that offer Medicare drug coverage are run by private insurance companies that follow rules set by Medicare. This coverage is optional however you may owe a late enrollment penalty if at any time after your Initial Enrollment Period is over, there’s a period of 63 or more days in a row when you don’t have Medicare drug coverage or other creditable prescription drug coverage.
Bundles Part A, Part B and sometimes Part D into one plan. Plans may offer additional benefits that Original Medicare does not cover such as dental, vision & hearing services. Private insurance companies offer these Medicare-approved plans as an alternative to Original Medicare.
Provides extra insurance to help you fill in the gaps of Original Medicare such as deductibles, copays & coinsurance. Plans are standardized and are typically named by letters such as Plan F, Plan G. The benefits in each lettered plan are the same, no matter which insurance company sells it. Some plans offer foreign travel as well.
